In honor and memory of what would have been her 13-year adoption date celebration

Maddie survived so much while she was here: two rounds of chemotherapy for lymphoma, a car accident, and multiple heart issues. Through it all she always was wagging her tail and just so full of life. If only people could always be that optimistic in the face of so much adversity.

She taught me so much about life, being grateful for the here and now, and staying in the moment. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift" couldn't be more appropriate.

I love her and miss her dearly.
